Less than ideal experience with FNP Chad Dugas. The experience itself was one blunder and another.
Here are just a couple things that happened.
An assistant takes my blood pressure(manually), she states that it was 162/90. Which was alarming to me, because my BP has never been that high, and I let her know. Instead of rechecking it, she all but brushes it off. I checked my blood pressure twice (electronically) once I was home. It averaged 133/73, so that was another strike in my book.
- My final straw came after discussing a plan of care with Chad and letting him know that I had been without my diabetic medicine for a little over a week and really needed a refill. We agreed on a plan, BUT he didn’t send in ANY medicine to the pharmacy. I then had to call the next day because they were closed by the time I got to the pharmacy, only to discover that there was now a new plan of care and now he wanted to double my dose. All based on a preliminary test and no blood wo

Dr. Dugas is an amazing physician. Excellent bed side manner. Makes you feel like you are the only patient he has that day. You appreciate a physician like that who takes the time to break down your treatment options & doesn't make you feel rushed. If a family member asked me who their primary care physician should be, I would recommend Dr. Dugas every time!

Chad Dugas is an excellent provider who listens and has incredible bedside manner. He is honest with you about your options without being pushy or biased in his opinion and tries to offer you the best options given your current health situation and wants. He has been treating patients for more than 20 years. He has a wide range of clinic experience but thrives in workers compensation, personal injury and musculoskeletal complaints as well as seasonal flu and other commonly-encountered illnesses. He is the man to see in Dallas!
