Getting to know Chaddy Cantona
My name is Chaddy Cantona, and my journey has been one of purpose, resilience, and a deep-rooted passion for healing. I was born in the Philippines and immigrated to the United States when I was just nine years old. That transition shaped much of who I am today — instilling in me a strong sense of adaptability and empathy for those navigating life’s challenges.
From a young age, I was drawn to the world of healthcare. I’ve always believed in the power of care, compassion, and human connection. That passion led me to enlist in the military while still in high school, where I gained invaluable experience, structure, and most importantly, a deeper understanding of the mental health struggles many people silently face. It was there that I discovered a calling — to help others not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well.
I went on to become an Emergency Room nurse, where I’ve spent years on the frontlines providing fast, critical care in high-stress environments. At the same time, I’ve been pursuing my Master’s degree to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner — a role that allows me to address the mental and emotional well-being of the people I serve.
Today, I’m proud of how far I’ve come and deeply grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to grow, serve, and give back. I consider it a privilege to be part of someone’s healing journey, especially when it involves the often-hidden struggles they carry. My mission is to continue being a source of hope, support, and understanding — especially for those who feel unseen or unheard
