About Dr. Chandana Halaharvi
Dr. Chandana Halaharvi, also known as "Dr. Harvi", is a highly skilled and double board certified foot and ankle surgeon with a passion for helping patients achieve healthy feet.
Dr. Harvi received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University School of Podiatric Medicine. She completed an extensive forefoot and rearfoot surgical residency at Grant Medical Center and pursued a fellowship specializing in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Portland Foot and Ankle Institute.
Dr. Harvi is involved in advocacy, mentoring, and teaching at the local, state, and national levels. She is a peer reviewer for the Foot and Ankle Specialist magazine. Dr. Harvi is passionate about teaching and is actively involved in teaching foot and ankle residents in Houston, Texas. Additionally, she is also involved with the Texas Podiatric Medical Association and serves on multiple committees to advance foot and ankle surgery.
Apart from practicing medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family. Her other interests include working out, yoga, practicing mindfulness, cooking, and hiking.

Everything is great the only thing I recommend to have FSA or HSA for important prescriptions because certain medications are not covered by insurance and they carry important ones there. Or will order for you. Doctor is very informative/good in helping understand everything. I am very happy with my visit.

Dr. Halaharvi was wonderful! I switched podiatrists and so glad I did! I really loved how Dr. Halaharvi listened to my concerns, made me feel comfortable, and gave me all the information I needed on the possible outcomes, so I wouldn't be surprised at the end. My favorite part... the wait time was NOT long at all. My previous podiatrist had me waiting for 45 mins once! Dr. Halaharvi understands everyone is making time to see her, so she makes sure she makes time to see you and hear you. I truly recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Halaharvi was very professional and amazing. I had a small infection in my foot and she was able to remove the little piece of glass that was in my heel. I was extremely nervous and scared however Dr. Halaharvi was so patient and kind she explained everything that was happening and took her time to make sure I was also not in pain! The entire time she was performing the tiny procedure she was cracking jokes and making sure I was comfortable! Definitely made my anxiety go away! Highly recommend her

Dr. Harvi is terrific! She is extremely knowledgeable and, as an extra bonus, very charming. I have dealt with foot pain for 3 years without receiving successful treatment before seeing her. I’m happy to report that she is a doctor with a plan, and I feel confident for the first time that my foot will recover.
