A representative from our office will contact you prior to your appointment to schedule an initial assessment with one of our therapists. Charis Foraker is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed her undergraduate degree at Wilmington University and immediately began working at a psychiatric hospital, where her passion for mental health inspired her to pursue further education. Charis continued as a full-time student at the University of Delaware, earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree while working as a psychiatric nurse in a variety of mental health settings. Charis has experience providing mental healthcare services to individuals of all ages in both acute and outpatient settings. She considers all aspects of human health and utilizes the most current, evidence-based approaches to improve mental health. Her goal in clinical practice is to integrate social, psychological, biological, and medicinal sciences into a collective analysis to assist in treating mental illnesses across all age groups. Charis continues to support the mental health needs of all ages by applying her expertise to effectively assess, diagnose, treat, and monitor those experiencing a range of complex mental health conditions. She is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to helping others reach their goals.

I’ve been going to Lifestance for many years and I have no major complaints. From the intake staff to therapist they have been pleasant to and with me.. I only experienced two people previously that wasn’t a fit for me. Once I was blessed with the ones who truly wanted to help me get to a good place I was confident in the process.
She was amazing, for years, decades I was always wondering my official diagnosis and she was able to tell me what it was in a matter of an hour... shes great and has me on a plan. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
