Originally from Warwick, Rhode Island, Dr. Slattery was a proud Eagle and graduate of the R1: Doctoral University Boston College, where he received his bachelor's degree. He went on to attend medical school at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara Facultad de Medicina Tabasco, Mexico (modernly known as UAG School of Medicine), where he earned his M.D. He completed his internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. After spending his residency in Internal Medicine at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, West Virginia, he found his way south to Florida to plant roots and make the Space Coast his forever home!
