About Dr. Chaula Parikh
Dr. Chaula Parikh joined Riverside Pediatric Group in 2022 and cares for patients in our Hoboken office. Dr. Parikh obtained her medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, India, in 1996. She completed her residency at Cornell University's Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in 2022. While in residency, Dr. Parikh participated in research on growth hormones and growth failure in patients. She received the Best Resident Award in 2021. The exceptional care she provides to her patients continued, as evidenced by her receiving the prestigious “Riverside Doctor of the Year” award in 2027. She has a special interest in the growth and development of newborns. Dr. Parikh's philosophy is founded on the principle that “educating parents about treatment options and working collaboratively with them for patient care” is essential when treating children. She strongly believes that a “knowledgeable parent is a very good partner that helps to bring patient care to a higher level.” In addition, Dr. Parikh believes that consistent follow-up with patients is important to determine how effectively treatment is working and to allow for necessary adjustments to achieve the best results. Dr. Parikh lives in Watchung, NJ, with her husband and children.

Bedside manner when dealing with a 2 yr old was not there. Automatically tried to label my 2 yr old as autistic needing early intervention because he was shy with speaking to her. He is shy with all strangers to begin with. She never personally talked to him or displayed any kind of warmness or comfort towards him, didn’t seem like a pediatrician at all.
