About Chelsea Hamilton
Chelsea is a certified physician assistant at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology and provides thorough, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s needs. She is committed to staying at the forefront of dermatologic and aesthetic innovation while creating a positive, personalized experience for every patient she sees.
Chelsea earned both her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Gannon University through the Accelerated PA Program. She began her career in plastic surgery, where she developed a strong foundation in aesthetic and procedural medicine. Her passion for skin health and patient-centered care led her to transition into dermatology through Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Training Program, where she received advanced training in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology under the mentorship of experienced dermatology providers.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She was also selected as a recipient of the SDPA Emerging DermPA Scholar program, which recognizes dermatology physician assistants for excellence and leadership in the field.
Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, friends and dogs, and supporting mental health and pediatric cancer initiatives.

My provider was great! It was my first time seeing a dermatologist and she was very thorough and explained everything along the way. Made me feel much more comfortable during an exam that would otherwise be a bit awkward. I appreciated her professionalism and expertise.
