About Dr. Chelsea Hoffman
My name is Dr. Chelsea Hoffman. I am a board-certified dermatologist, and I’m thrilled to be the newest member of the team at Hudson Dermatology!
I completed my medical degree, Master’s in Clinical Research, and dermatology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. Most recently, I pursued further training through an ASDS-accredited Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship at the Main Line Center for Laser Surgery, focusing on energy-based devices and advanced aesthetic techniques.
I practice both medical and cosmetic dermatology – with an emphasis on prevention and a personalized, "less is more" approach to aesthetics. I’m experienced in treating patients of all skin tones and believe that the best results come from understanding each person's unique features, goals, and preferences. My focus is always on helping people feel like the best version of themselves.
When I’m not in the office, you’ll probably find me on a yoga mat, exploring the city for the best matcha, at a Knicks game, or traveling with my husband.

Dr. Hoffman is very patient, friendly, responsive, and very professional. I went to her for some skin problems that persisted for years. Her diagnosis seems to point to the root problem and I hope the problem will go away after her treatment. All office staff are very friendly and prompt. By the way, the office is clean and beautiful with exceptionally beautiful, fresh red roses.

Dr. Hoffman was truly the empathetic dermatologist I needed for my bad sunburn. I booked the appointment the night before and showed up 70 minutes early because my symptoms were bothering me at work. She saw me within 10 minutes of my arrival (an hour before my appointment time!) and couldn’t have been nicer. Her assistant who brought me to the room was very nice and professional and set up the appointment perfectly for Dr. Hoffman.
When Dr. Hoffman arrived, she asked me questions and did a physical exam and shared exactly what I needed to do to decrease my very bad sunburn symptoms. She listened, she answered clarifying questions, and she made small talk at the end before wishing me well.
What I appreciated the most was that she said, if I’m feeling better and don’t have any questions in two weeks, I can just cancel the follow up appointment. She didn’t force it.
The front desk receptionist was also a pleasure and took payment for my copay swiftly and for the right amount. :)
