“Chelsey is one of the most thoughtful and intelligent psychiatrists/psychiatric nurse practitioners I’ve worked with. She takes the time to truely listen, is always prepared, and offers well-informed, effective treatment. She considers more than just medication—she checks in on therapy support, health, social circumstances, and offers resources to help in lacking areas. I trust her completely and would highly recommend her, especially to anyone who feels overlooked or misdiagnosed by others.”

Getting to know Chelsey McFaddin

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, currently working exclusively with adults (ages 18 and up). My practice is rooted in creating a safe, inclusive space where people from all walks of life feel seen and supported. I love working as part of a team and am always happy to coordinate with other members of your care circle. I believe healing happens in the context of connection, which is why I emphasize active listening, compassion, and honoring autonomy in treatment planning. If you're considering care, I'd be honored to support you! Let’s travel the path toward healing—together. Clinical interests include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. My primary role is a medication management provider, but I believe that medication is just one tool of support that can be utilized on your journey to improved mental wellbeing. I take time to understand what makes each person unique and tailor care to fit their specific needs. My lived experiences and personal lens, combined with clinical work in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings across the lifespan, have shaped the way I show up as a practitioner: grounded, attentive, and human first. My approach to care is warm and collaborative.
