About Cheryl Elmore
Cheryl Elmore is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Recently, Cheryl expanded her expertise by training in the wellness field, allowing her to offer a more integrated approach to patient care.
A Texas native, Cheryl has lived in Fort Worth all of her life. She began her medical education at Bryan Institute in 1994 where she graduated as Valedictorian of her Medical Assistant class. She then returned to college and, in 2009, she graduated as Valedictorian of her nursing program and was awarded a Clinical Award for Exemplary Patient Care from Tarrant County College. She then earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2019. Soon after, she was awarded a Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is currently an active member of the Dermatology Nurses Association.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Cheryl’s goal is to build lasting relationships with her patients and their families—treating adults and patients 8 years and older. She encourages mutual respect and collaboration, while empowering her patients and providing them with the knowledge that they need to make the best decision regarding their skin health and treatments.
Cheryl has been married for more than 36 years, has 2 grown children, 2 grandchildren, and many pets. She enjoys yoga, reading, teaching, exploring the outdoors, taking photographs with her husband, and spending time with her family and friends.
