Cheryl Gould is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with Rappore, a group mental health practice. Rappore is not currently in-network with Medicaid or Managed Medicaid. Dr. Cheryl Gould has been a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2003. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University and holds a Master’s degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Cheryl has worked with diverse populations and in a variety of settings during her career, including both inpatient and outpatient environments. She has experience treating patients from age 18 to 80+. She treats adults with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. As a former smoker and a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist, she is passionate about helping others quit tobacco. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ted, and their dog, Lulu. She also enjoys travel, photography, mixed media art, cooking, and reading.

What should a new client know about working with you?

We value your time and ours. Rappore has a 48-hour cancellation policy. If an appointment is canceled with less notice, or missed entirely, a $150 no-show fee will apply.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our check-in process is designed to make your visit as smooth as possible. You’ll receive texts and email appointment reminders at 4 days, 2 days, 1 day, and 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment. These will guide you through: - Real-time verification of your benefits - Up-front pricing information - Intake questionnaire and consent forms to complete - The secure link to your virtual intake session
