Unfortunately my appointment was a waste of time. I made it clear before our session that I needed help with a medical diagnosis and that I wanted to be tested so that I could understand my symptoms and start on medication if needed. Now, I admit not having much experience with how medical diagnosis work at the time of our appointment but something felt off, and Okogbue asked me questions as if she were just reading off an internet personality quiz without much nuance or bedside manner. She also claimed that she couldn't diagnose me without speaking to my mother, which doesn't make sense for treating an adult.
Now that I've been to a proper treatment facility (unaffiliated with Zocdoc) and diagnosed correctly I can see that Okogbue's methods were not proper protocol for my situation nor was I directed to a mental health professional or facility that could actually address my needs.
