My goal is to support clients in achieving mental wellness and empowering them to take an active role in their care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
A typical session with me, NP Chidimma Nzoiwu, usually begins with a discussion about your current concerns and what brings you in today. I will ask questions about your mental health history, any symptoms you may be experiencing, your medical background, and your family history. This helps me to get a comprehensive understanding of your situation.
As part of my diagnostic process, I use evidence-based assessment tools and clinical interviews to better understand your symptoms and how they impact your daily life. I may also ask about your sleep, appetite, energy levels, mood, and any changes in your behavior or thinking patterns.
Depending on your needs, I may recommend talk therapy, medication management, or a combination of both. I do practice talk therapy and can provide supportive counseling, cognitive-behavioral techniques, or refer you to specialized therapists if needed.
My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses your unique needs and goals.
