I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Grand Canyon University and have more than 15 years of experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, with education from New Jersey City University (Bachelor's), the University of Massachusetts (Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing), and Felician University (Family Nursing). I strive to connect, support, and balance the mental and physical needs of my patients to help them achieve a healthy whole person. In providing compassionate care, I treat every patient as unique and work together with each individual to develop an evidence-based, individualized care plan that will achieve their health goals. I treat all mental health conditions, starting from an initial comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to medication management, including counseling and psychotherapy. Terrible asked to get a preauthorizati9n from insurance because I couldn't afford to pay out of pocket, and she lied about it and hung up on me after I called her asking. Also flipped out on me for calling g her because I had to wait hours in the pharmacy waiting on hee to approve insurance etc and didn't even end up getting g the medication.

Dr. Chikaodi has excellent bedside manner. I was reluctant to seek mental health help and was new to the experience. She began communicating with me very clearly a half hour before the appointment to assist me in completing forms and with insurance. She called me to ensure I had no issues connecting with her via zoom. She listened to my background and truly cared about me as a person. She is very experienced and highly educated with extensive background experience making her the perfect holistic mental healthcare provider. I especially loved how she incorporated spiritual or religious beliefs& that they can help with mental health. I specifically saw her for anxiety and nightmares, I have a follow up with her in 2 weeks. I was anxious about beginning treatment , which she immediately sent to the pharmacy after our meeting. She called me after I had texted her regarding my reluctancy and fears of treatment with pregnancy/breastfeeding, she called me personally, listened &reassured me.
