“Dr. Chike was wonderful. I felt our time was very productive. He suggested practices I could implement right away and proposed a course of action to address my needs going forward. I have worked with other mental health professionals before, but Dr. Chike's depth of knowledge and gracious, comforting nature are unmatched. He was quick to recognize patterns in my behaviors and made me hopeful about the future. I could not recommend him enough. ”

“This guy may have saved my life, at least my career and law school enrollment. I visited to ask for an ADD diagnoses—but he immediately figured out that my new skin care pill has been counteracting my longtime antidepressant pill, so I was unknowingly slipping into a depressive episode (passing out, losing memory, zero appetite, mental fog, disorganized, uncommunicative, inattentive, etc) during the busiest peak of my job/school. Thank you, Dr. Nwankwo, for rescuing me on my first attempt seeking help.”

Was sarcastic with me the entire time and then never even called my prescription in. Find yourself another doctor.

Dr Nwankwo is an exceptional doctor who is both a very knowledgeable and very caring individual.
Sweetest, most helpful Dr. He genuinely listens and cares about what is going on in your life.
Dr. Chike has been a great psychiatrist and helped a lot with what was bothering me.
He is a very good listener and helps you through in the right steps and approach.
Very personable, down to earth but understanding and extremely knowledgeable.
Been seeing this guy for almost a third of my life, can’t imagine it without him.

The most friendly and humorous psychiatrist I have ever been to.
Awesome guy! Very relaxed, made me feel very at ease right away.
Chike is a total rockstar. Best psychiatrist I've ever seen.
Great person. Both incredibly empathetic and intelligent.
Cautioning women against seeing this doctor. He made numerous inappropriate comments during our last session that made me feel very uncomfortable. Highly unprofessional and left me with a new degree of anxiety and mistrust.

He is great!

My experience under the “care” of this man was traumatizing. Strongly cautioning everyone, and especially women, to be warned against seeing him.
He is the best psychologist out there!
Although we arrived late Dr. Nwankwo saw both me and my wife. We both came away from the appointment with a very favorable impression of Dr. Nwankwo. He set up a follow up appointment for less than a week at which time we should establish a schedule for further appointments.

The best!
He made me comfortable talking with him. I felt like it was more like a casual conversation but it helped me to have a trust on him that he is very highly trained.
Dr. Nwankwo should not be allowed to run his practice the way he is currently doing it. I described him to my new doctor as being in a "toxic relationship", which is the opposite of how you should feel when being treated for mental health. I suspect there is a reason he has so many open appointments.
Dr. Chike listened very well. We were at the end of our 45 min time limit before we could discuss any options going forward. I wish we had more time in discussing different options. Communication by email with basic questions took longer than I expected. No discussion on the phone was entertained and and was asked to schedule another visit which would cost me another consulting fee.. I think a 45 min consultation with the price charged is not a great value. I was told that the charge would be XX when I made the appointment and I was charged a different amount.
Dr. Chike is very unresponsive to follow-up communications by email or phone. He seems eager to communicate only when you're willing to pay for another physical appointment, which is very disappointing.
Dr. Chike (as he introduced himself) was warm and easygoing while being professional. Bonus points for having his sweet dog in the office! Very relaxing atmosphere.
I found Dr. Chike to have a welcoming office space and a cute dog named Dale! Loved that Dr. Chike is personable and makes you feel comfortable. Too often I’ve had experiences where an office was very sterile and the doctors very stiff. I’m happy to have found Dr. Chike.
awesome guy
Chike is very friendly and helpful.

Love this guy! Very highly recommend.

Dr. Chike was warm, conversational, & friendly in our first meeting, while also being extremely attentive to details to better understand my situation. While extremely professional, he also had a cordial, amicable demeanor that helped alleviate any nervousness I had.
Excellent!

Very caring Doctor! By far the best!
Excellent Doctor
Dr. Chike was genuine, sincere, and extremely polite and welcoming. He seemed to listen much more than any psychiatrist I had been used to and he also does therapy, which didn't come as a surprise after the initial consultation. Dr. Chike is a smart, humble person who is very good and sincere at what he does.
Dr. Nwankwo is very caring and knowledgeable. I was going to give up on finding a psychiatrist until I booked my appointment. His office is very calming and there is a very well trained therapy dog. Dr. Nwankwo took the time to go through my whole problem and went into the slightest details. He also sent me some related medical articles to help with me control my symptoms. Highly Recommended!
He's the best!
Wonderfull caring doctor!
Dr Nwankwo is very kind and I felt he was easy to speak with. In my opinion he was genuine in wanting to help me. I went into the appointment feeling overwhelmed and almost hopeless. Dr. Nwankwo helped me feel that things can be manageable. I look forward to seeing the fruit of our times together.
Finally found a Psychiatrist in Boston where I left my appointment feeling better than when I went into it. Excellent and considerate doctor, is extremely nice and cares about helping you get back on track, set goals, and achieve your potential. I'm finally hopeful about my treatment here in Boston now.
Outstanding - informed, insightful, efficient.
Chike is great!
I was not seen that day nor have I been responded to as withs reasoned to why. Despite attempts to contact him I've been left without treatment or any knowledge of when I can get further
The good: Dr. Chike has a warm, caring manner. He is easy to talk to. I usually don't open up easily and I feel comfortable with him. He has also provided much needed advise for my professional life.. The bad: I felt that sometimes he wasn't "all there". Sometimes he seemed a bit preoccupied. The ugly: His voice mail box has usually been full. If I did not make an appointment before I left, there was no other way to contact him except ZOCDOC . I am fortunate that I have not had a crisis that warranted hospitalization since I have been under his care. I feel that I would have been on my own without my psydoc. I have also tried to email him and did not hear from him. Overall, Dr, Chike, is a good psychiatrist. I hope that he sees this review and makes some changes so that he can get even better.
Wonderful, great at establishing trust and rapport-- very much competent and well-read in the field, and the chilled waters are free. Well worth the investment.
He makes you feel incredibly safe, when you feel at your most vulnerable state. He listens to what you are actually saying to him, and truly wants to help his patients get well. I had almost lost hope, but I found Dr, Chike, and he has given me a new found faith that there are still medical professionals who actually care about their patients.
Reasons I would recommend Dr. Nwankwo: 1. He is professional, personable, and easy to talk to 2. He is transparent in his diagnosis and evaluation of your condition 3. He is accommodating and understanding; he will work with you on providing solutions that best meet your needs given your personal circumstances. He is also flexible and willing to work with you if you have a particular preference on treatment given it is appropriate and within reason. 4. He is a Great guy and very down to earth; he is genuine and a straight shooter - he tells it like he sees it and won't mislead you. 5. he, as already mentioned, is flexible and cares about his patients and how to best meet their needs (even post consultation). As an example, post consultation, he'll give you the option to have your prescription (if applicable) electronically sent to your preferred pharmacy or give to you as a hard copy 6. He is extremely helpful when it come to dealing with insurance providers; he will accommodate your insurance provider with necessary documentation and receipt; evenif the provider is out of netwrork. Overall - I would highly recommended Chike and was extremely satisfied with how my appointment went.
Very warm, smart and funny. I found his approach of conversational therapy to be very effective, and I felt like I was speaking with an old friend. Definitely recommended!
