Hi there! I'm Chimdiya Osisioma, a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master's in Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Frontier Nursing University. I'm here to support you on your mental health journey by creating a safe and welcoming space where you can feel heard and understood. What should a new client know about working with you?

**Policy Statement:** PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING Our practice DOES NOT prescribe benzodiazepines such as klonopin, xanax etc due to their risks, including dependence and adverse effects. We focus on alternative treatments for managing conditions like anxiety and insomnia. STIMULANT POLICY Our practice DOES NOT prescribe Stimulants such as Adderall, Ritalin, Vyvanse, etc., to treat ADHD. Insurance Policy At present, we are NOT in network with Medicaid and Medicare plans and are unable to accept patients covered by these plans.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Initial Assessment: - Comprehensive Evaluation:Our first session will focus on understanding your history, current concerns, and goals. This involves a detailed discussion about your mental health history, medical background, lifestyle, and any symptoms you are experiencing. Diagnostic Process: I will use evidence-based diagnostic criteria to assess your condition. This may involve standardized assessments and questionnaires to gather a complete picture of your mental health needs. Therapeutic Approach: - Collaborative Discussion: We will discuss potential treatment options, which may include psychotherapy, medication management, or a combination of both, tailored to your individual needs. Ongoing Sessions: - Personalized Plan:Each session will build on the last, focusing on your progress, discussing any changes, and adjusting your treatment plan as necessary. - Goal Setting: We will set realistic and achievable goals for your mental health journey, continuously reviewing and refining these as needed. Open Communication: - Safe Environment:My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable expressing yourself.
