To my surprise, I received a response within 5-10 minutes. The information and platform provided, was user friendly, easy to understand and navigate.
I was able to book an appointment for the same day, that's extremely impressive.
Once inside Mrs. Chinyere Kalu, was extremely welcoming and within minutes, I could see my son felt comfortable and relaxed, as was I.
I'm excited for my son, to finally get the help he needs. I highly recommend the Anya Medspa & Behavioral Health Center.

Ms. Chinyere Kalu is a nurse practitioner who welcomes patients at her own practice located in Catonsville, MD.
Ms. Kalu received her bachelor's degree from Mountain State University. She then completed her master's degree in Family Nursing at Walden University. After this, she attended the University of Cincinnati, where she earned an additional master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
Ms. Kalu's clinical experience is vast and impressive. She treats conditions such as arthritis, allergic eye problems, and occupational injuries. Provider will work closely with each patient to address any issues he or she might have using medication or therapy approach personalized for each clients.
FYI: All cancelled appointment or No show under 24 hrs of scheduled appointment will be charged $40 non-refundable. Also, our clinic does not prescribe controlled substances to new patient via visual visit or telehealth.

My appointment was scheduled a week in advanced and I selected an in person visits which was available on the site. Less than an hour before the visit Dr. Kalu texts me to let me know their location changed and she’s willing to do over the phone. I didn’t want that and was willing to go to the new location but then she said that she didn’t feel like driving there so my only options were to do virtual or reschedule on Monday (I wasn’t available Monday). She told me my insurance was accepted last visit but this time said she must not have actually checked it and ended our session halfway through since I couldn’t pay out of pocket. She also gave me bad information about how to apply for disability by saying I had to do it through my job. Overall she is not reliable as a healthcare provider.

this provider is not great for people struggling with ocd. she does not have a clear understanding of it and told me i would end up in jail for acting on my intrusive thoughts if i did not get help. people with ocd greatly fear acting on their thoughts. the appointment made my ocd worse and she made me cry
