Chioma is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner who combines active listening, compassion, and empathy to deliver client-centered, culturally sensitive care to clients with various mental health disorders. Her treatment modalities are a combination of psychotherapy and psychopharmacology in developing an individualized treatment plan specific to the client’s mental and psychological health care needs.
Chioma received her BSN in nursing from Grand Canyon University and obtained her master’s degree in Psychiatry from Walden University with about 12 years of clinical experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health clinics. She is specialized in the management of mental health disorders in adults and children across the life span. She is the CEO of Chimark Healthcare Services LLC, a mental health clinic for adults and children across the life span.
Chioma is family-oriented and understands the struggles of individuals and families dealing with mental illness. Chioma was a certified wound care specialist at the University of Maryland Medical system before obtaining her master’s in psychiatry. Over the 12 years of her career, she has gained vast experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Excellent Healthcare and PRP Services in Baltimore, MD, and at Mind bloom Healthcare Group, implementing evidence-based clinical guidelines to provide quality care to her clients.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
