About Dr. Choudhury S. Hasan
Choudhury S Hasan is a detail-oriented and trusted gastroenterologist based in Elmhurst, NY. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens. He completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the same institution.
Currently he is working in Interfaith Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York as Acting Director of Gastroenterology..
Dr. Hasan runs his own practice and was the Chief of Gastroenterology at Flushing Medical Center and the former Chief of Gastroenterology of St. John's Queens Hospital. The waiting room is always packed, long waiting times, no calls to remind you of your appointments, no reception during the morning period, the doctor answers the phone and says call back , I just think they are really unprofessional altogether

My apt was at 10 I showed up a few minutes early. I was asked for my if and insurance even though it was given to Zocdoc. I informed her of this and was ignored. They don’t accept credit or checks (cash only). I was shuffled into the back and stuck in a supply room with other boxes and used equipment while I waited for the doctor. I had to give my medical history not only to the receptionist but the doctor as well. What’s the point in having it all filled out ahead of time if I have to give it again?

I would just like to mention that this office seems more like a clinic than a regular doctors office. So expect a wait to see him, but also expect a speedy diagnosis. Choudhury Hasan is a very pleasant doctor, and so is his staff. I will continue to use his services, and appreciate his expertise.
