Chris Lee is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and the founder of DreamCloud Psychiatry. He completed his graduate studies and training in psychiatry at New York University and holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Southern California and Miami Dade College. He has been recognized as one of the world's 'Top 100 Healthcare Leaders' by International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare (IFAH) and is a contributing writer for The Mighty and Yahoo.
Chris Lee built his career in mental health at several of the nation's top psychiatric facilities, including NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in New York City, Mount Sinai West (formerly St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital), and The Addiction Institute. He has treated patients at Housing Works in New York City, East New York Community Health Center, Transformations in Delray Beach, Summit Detox in Boynton Beach, Ally Psychology in Miami Beach, and Delphi Behavioral in Fort Lauderdale.
In 2017, Chris Lee used his intuition and expertise to launch DreamCloud, a mental healthcare practice focused on delivering care using technology and a modern approach to traditional care, suitable for a newer generation.
He was inspired to create a unique space after a string of school shootings and gun violence. 'It occurred to me that this generation of patients has experienced life-changing events like none before. From 9/11 to Sandy Hook, LGBTQ and women's rights, Black Lives Matter, and the birth and rise of social media—this generation is the most important population to anticipate in mental healthcare.'
Chris Lee is an avid traveler and has lived in vibrant cities like Los Angeles, Paris, New York, and Medellín. He has lived in South Florida for 16 years. He currently resides in Miami with his dog Milo.
