I'm Christa, a practicing dietitian for nearly a decade with a focus on type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance, prediabetes, and symptom management from medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro to optimize blood sugar control. I hold a Master's in Nutrition from Saint Elizabeth University. I've been inspired by the results of the strategies I've helped my patients implement-taking blood sugars that used to be greater than 200 fasting to under 130 at least 90% of every week. I've helped lower A1Cs that were as high as 14 mg/dL to 8, and A1Cs at 7 to 5.2 mg/dL in just four months without EVER saying you can't eat your favorite foods. I know some of your fears include: 1. I can't ever eat carbs again!? 2. I'm afraid to go to a dietitian because I'm going to be told everything I can't eat 3. I have no support group 4. I have absolutely no energy to cook, test my blood sugar, take care of work AND take care of everyone else? time doesn't exist for me 5. I feel like such a failure, I don't think I can ever manage my diabetes My program will break down the emotional and physical walls that prevent you from hitting numbers that will give you long-term health and CONTROL.
