About Christen Davis
Christen is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience treating adult and pediatric patients with allergies and asthma. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology before going to Catholic University of America for her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, where she was inducted into the National Nursing Honor Society. She practiced at Johns Hopkins Hospital while getting her Master’s Degree in Nursing at George Mason/George Washington University. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a Certified Pediatric Nurse by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Christen is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and Association of Asthma Educators.
In the clinic, she enjoys evaluating and treating patients with allergies and asthma. She particularly enjoys teaching patients and families to be active participants in understanding and

The Nurse was very detailed in the questions she asked as to best assure I got the treatment plan and information I needed. She seemed extremely knowledgeable and the treatment we worked out together has worked wonderfully for me!

Christen Davis was extremely good. I wish all medical professionals I see met her high quality standards.
There were two problems:
The receptionist/intake person said she could not use the ID & insurance cards I had uploaded to Zocdoc. This is very bad. It takes time to upload them. I should not have to produce them twice for scanning. The receptionist/intake person blamed the problem on Zocdoc.
I don't know who is to blame, but this problem should be fixes.
The other big problem was the rudeness of the receptionist/intake person. She was surly when I arrived. When I questioned the need for her to rescan the ID card and medical cards, she became even worse.
Her behavior was unprofessional. She should be counseled at a minimum.

Christen Davis, the nurse practitioner who saw me, was professional, knowledgeable, a great listener, and so very nice. She is fantastic and so caring! This practice is one of the best, if not the best, immunology and allergy specialists in the area. Dr. Amir Shahlaee, who is in charge of this practice, is absolutely one of the most caring and knowledgeable physicians! If you need an immunologist or allergist, Ms. Davis and Dr. Shahlaee are the best!
