“I've been with Dr. Christi Cheng for 20 years and what I love most about our visits is she focuses on preventative care and improving health.
There was a time where diabetes and thyroid lab results were borderline so I knew I had to do the work to prevent these diseases. With the help of Dr. Christi Cheng I've been successful! She also puts into account my family history and will refer me to any specialists to make sure I'm good!
We always revisit medications and reevaluate what's best to stay on. The main goal for myself is to not use medications if not needed anymore and also to lower medications after doing the work of eating healthy and exercising consistently.
Overall I've managed to help lower my meds and completely come off a few! I have another follow up visit in a few months and hope to lower my remaining meds after working hard to be healthier and not be dependent on meds. ”
