Dr. Christie Choi is a New York State licensed optometrist caring for patients in NYC. Originally from California, Dr. Choi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience & Behavior from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and received her Doctorate of Optometry at the State University of New York College of Optometry. During her clinical training, Dr. Choi had unique experiences working with minor league baseball players during spring training and rotated through Keller Army Community Hospital in West Point, NY.
Dr. Choi is a primary care optometrist who is committed to practicing comprehensive eye care and detecting early signs of ocular disease such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. At Herald Square Eyecare, she is especially focused on hard-to-fit contact lenses and making sure that her patients are educated on the newest lens technology. She also takes special interest in treating medical conditions including chronic dry eyes, eye infections, flashes/floaters, and styes. As a clinician, Dr. Choi strives to provide the best care for her patients by attending continuing education courses and tailoring eye exams for each patient's needs.
In her spare time, Dr. Choi enjoys baking, reading, and eating all the food New York City has to offer.

Dr. Choi was great and exceeded my expectations. Ive been to eye doctors before that just look at your eye quickly, but Dr. Choi did a thorough examination and took the time to make sure my eyes were in good health. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an eye dr!

The office is located in the LensCrafters inside the Manhattan Mall, and Dr. Choi is great! It was a quick and easy appointment, and she explained in full detail what each eye test was for and what my results meant. I was in and out in less than an hour for my first trip!
