My concerns about my contact lenses were mostly shrugged off and even met with some annoyance, however Dr. Mendelssohn did find the time to recommend the “retinal imager” six or seven times over the course of two visits. Clearly a high margin procedure that they can bill your insurance for. Still can’t see properly.

I saw Dr Fein and he was great. The staff here is really stellar. You can tell it’s a happy place to work which is so nice to be around.

Overall very pleasant! Both the receptionist and Dr. Lara were professional and friendly. Clean atmosphere (Always important but, even more so in the midst of a pandemic). Dr. Lara also alleviated a concern I had in a concise and reassuring manner.

Dr. Mendelssohn was fine. The girls working the desk were not so friendly and did not do a great job of explaining benefits and costs for the visit, which is sad since there were 3 of them and isn’t that their sole purpose for being there?

She’s great! My appointment started on time and she was happy to answer any and all questions I had. The office staff is also really helpful regarding insurance questions! Highly recommend Dr. Mendelssohn!

This doctor is not in network for VSP, despite what her page says. I specifically asked the receptionist at my appointment whether the office accepts VSP, and she said yes. A few weeks after my appointment, I received a call saying that I had an outstanding bill because I had used VSP insurance and they are an out of network provider. I would not have chosen this provider had I been informed that she was out of network. I will not visit this office again.
