About Dr. Christina Gutierrez Steil
Dr. Christina Steil is an American Academy of Dermatology board certified dermatologist who has devoted many years to studying diseases of the skin.
She attended college at Washington University in St. Louis, MO where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Biochemistry.
Dr. Steil then attended The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and graduated with her Medical Degree in 1995.
She completed a medical internship at Loyola University Medical Center.
After completing her medicine training she spent a year with Dr. Brian Nickoloff doing basic science research on the study of psoriasis, and skin cancer cells and their relationship to the cutaneous immune system.
Her education continued during her dermatology residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where she trained in the clinical and surgical treatment of skin diseases and served as chief resident. At the completion of her residency in 2000 she successfully passed the Dermatology Board Exam administered by the American Academy of Dermatology.

The staff at the office make me feel as though I am visiting with long time friends and never like I am just another body coming in for an appointment. Dr Steil has always taken the time to educate me on my skin issues or calm my nerves before a procedure. Although the office is fast paced she is attentive and thorough. Very happy I found her!

Dr. Steil is very attentive. I did not feel rushed as I have at other dermatologists. I felt my full body exam was very thorough and she even took the time to talk to me about some of my cosmetic concerns! I have been to both locations and they are beautiful. I highly recommend Dr. Steil!

Dr. Steil and her whole team are wonderful! Very personable, great bedside manner and Dr. truly cares about all your worries/concerns and makes sure to address them all! Dr. Steil's partner Dr. Bognet is just as great with the same mentality as Dr. Steil! Defiantly will continue to recommend Steil Dermatology!!
