Christina’s approach to treatment is collaborative and research-driven, with a strong focus on each patient’s individual needs and life goals. While medication management plays a distinct and important role in treating various mental health issues, she firmly believes in the value of adjunct therapy and behavioral changes that support living a healthy, happy, and productive life. Christina’s practice embraces the ideal and gold standard that psychiatric treatment is a dynamic and evolving process, and patients can expect healing and continual growth when engaging in treatment with her.
Christina holds two Master’s Degrees from Columbia University: a Master’s in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing (MSN) and a Master’s in Clinical Social Work (MSW) with a sub-specialty in addiction. She is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who treats adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. She has worked extensively in inpatient and outpatient settings and places special attention on ensuring culturally competent treatment for all her patients.
Before expanding into private practice, Christina implemented and headed the Psychiatric Consultation Liaison Department during the transition of Downtown Hospital to what is now New York Presbyterian-Lower Manhattan Hospital. Along with the department’s successful integration and growth within the hospital system—including the launch of Telepsychiatry—Christina provided specialty consultation services and treatment for acute and ongoing complex medical and psychiatric patients, which has given her a unique and expanding ability to...

I took a shot in the dark and decided to visit Christina after finding her on Zocdoc, and I'm grateful I did! Her approach to the things I've brought her have been excellent, and I feel like I can open up to her truthfully and get encouraging feedback. I've dealt with more impersonal medical professionals in the past, but it's so lovely to hear Christina tell me she's proud of me throughout my treatments! She is prompt with her prescriptions and always timely in getting back to my emails. I can't recommend her enough. :) Thank you Christina!

I really respected Christina and her nonjudgmental and calm manner. I immediately felt comfortable talking to her and opening up, and also felt that she had my best interests in mind, including being conservative with medications. When pandemic hit and I was in the throws of anxiety and becoming deeply depressed, she was available immediately to help me tailor my medications so that I could get through my days more smoothly. I've already recommended her to a friend so would continue to recommend others work with her!
