Christina Thomas, PA-C

Physician Assistant
154 E Myrtle Ave, #204, Murray, UT
I’m a board-certified psychiatric physician assistant with a background in social work, and my approach is shaped by my experience working with individuals across diverse mental health needs. Before becoming a PA, I worked as a cognitive behavioral therapist conducting research in mood disorders and pain at the University of Texas at Arlington. I later worked in the emergency department at Texas Health Resources Hospital in Dallas, where I performed psychiatric and chemical dependency assessments, crisis interventions, treatment planning, and coordinated resources for a wide range of patients. I bring this breadth of experience into my practice, combining thorough psychiatric assessment with compassionate care. My goal is to help patients feel understood, supported, and empowered as they work toward improved mental health and well-being. Please note: I am accepting new patients for ongoing medication management support. I do not provide therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I take a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care, tailoring treatment plans to meet your unique needs and goals. Whether we are addressing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, or suicidal thoughts, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. I work closely with patients to integrate therapy, medication management, and practical coping strategies, helping you build resilience and achieve sustainable improvements in mental health. My focus is on partnering with you to find the right tools and interventions that fit your life and circumstances.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start with a thorough evaluation to understand your history, current challenges, and priorities. Together, we create a personalized plan that may include medication management, therapy referrals, or lifestyle strategies to strengthen overall wellness. I check in regularly with patients, adjusting treatment as needed, and strive to create a safe and empathetic space where you feel comfortable working through challenges and moving toward lasting change.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
