Office was short staffed and I waited outside a locked office for 30min. Receptionist answered the phone once and never again when I called for an update. After I left from being so cold, they texted me to go to one of their other offices 20 minutes away and I was seen immediately but a horrible way to start the morning. Things do happen but I won’t be coming back .?

I was not seen by the doctor I booked. I was seen by a physician assistant and it was treated as an urgent care visit instead of a primary care provider visit as booked.

I booked an appointment with Dr. Zhang on Tuesday given i had symptoms of a swollen eye (assumed it was an eye infection and after seeing my eye doctor, was advised to go to a general care physician for oral medication on top of the antibacterial drops he prescribed me). When i showed up, it was an urgent care and not a family office practice and my doctor was a PA - Laura Wisniewski. Before I could get a word out on my symptoms, Laura mentioned “this would be quick”. After running in and out of the room twice as i explained my situation (to i assume consult with Dr. Zhang), Laura concluded i had a sinus infection and prescribed me steroids (prednisone). Fast forward, my infection got worse as a direct result of the steroids and no antibiotics prescribed (confirmed by each doctor at NYU) and by Thursday i was in the ER and admitted to stay in the hospital through Sunday. I had preseptal cellulitis and was treated with 96hours of IV antibiotics.I will never be returning to this clinic.

The front desk receptionist is the worst person you would expect from a medical facility. it's been 8 days since my doctor visit, and still haven't got my medication. My pharmacy said they tried to contact my doctors office for some clarification a week ago, and never heard from them. so I called my doctor's office, and the one who picked up was full of attitude, and very unfriendly and not helpful at all.

I think the information on ZoDoc needs to be updated. Dr. Zhang does not practice in the W49th Street address. She is at the upper East side office. If I have known, I will have chosen a different doctor that practice on the westside.
