Christine Doering RPA-C, a New Windsor native, has been practicing as a Dermatology Physician Assistant for nearly twenty years. She first trained and worked with the late Dr. Burton Allyn and has been with Dr. Murphy for the past ten years. Christine's special interests in her field include performing comprehensive full skin exams for the detection and prevention of skin cancers, as well as developing effective plans for the treatment of acne for teens and adults alike. Outside the office, you will most likely find Christine spending time with her family and friends. Her interests and hobbies include interior design, cooking, reading mystery novels, biking, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Provider did not have a conversation with me. She and her medical assistant treated me as though I was a bother to them. PA removed a mole off of me, never explained what the process was after. If it was being for pathology. I had to ask questions. It was the worse office visit.

Overall had a great experience, I was prescribed with two acne treatments that have been working for my condition, however, the office and staff aren’t the most friendly. My follow-up consultation for my initial appointment lasted less than 5 minutes, wasn’t given any feedback on my updated regimen.

AWFUL RECEPTIONIST! Made appointments on office website for 11:30 & 11:45 & got confirmation emails from Zocdoc. Arrived 10 min early & receptionist immediately said I missed my appointment at 11. I told her that the times were 11:30/11:45. With attitude, she said no it was 11. I showed PROOF- 2 text reminders I just got that day w/ times I said. Instead of acknowledging that I clearly booked those times & being helpful, she continued to be nasty to me in front of my son, repeatedly saying I was wrong. Said Zocdoc isn't booking with their office, yet it's a HUGE link on website. Also argued I don't have voicemail, but I do & get VMs regularly. I finally said to stop acting like I'm lying-and SHE ROLLED HER EYES AT ME! 16yo son saw her do it too. I've been a receptionist for years in med offices-this is 100% COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! Have since found several other bad reviews about her nasty attitude. Shame, good doctors but she ruins the entire experience. Will never recommend.

Hi, I had an uncommon reaction to the medication HCTZ. The blood work my Rheumatologist ordered was not resulted at the time of my visit that confirmed I was positive for a mild case of Drug Induced Lupus (DILE).
I was instead diagnosed with rosacia and told to continue my medication which I did. Once the results came back [+ Histone antibody] I was told to stop HCTZ and my facial rash is now almost gone along with my headache and generalized malaise with joint and muscle pain.
I'm not writing to get the review posted on the website but to give a heads up to the PA. I understand how difficult DILE can be to diagnose but honestly, I felt she just mmmm hmmmm'd me and didn't listen to my complete symptom history. As an RN for 29 years I just want to make sure that Ms. Doering was aware of my confirmed diagnosis of Drug Induced Lupus. I have no interest in having a negative review posted because like I stated before, DILE is fairly rare and can be easily mistaken for DILE.
