About Dr. Christine Ellie
Dr. Christine Ellie is a leading podiatric surgeon practicing in midtown Manhattan. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed her residencies in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at New York Downtown Hospital and Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Center. She also holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Ellie is extensively trained in all aspects of foot and ankle care, including medical and surgical treatment of sports injuries, deformities, bunions, hammer toes, arthritis, sprains and strains, and fractures.

The experience was bad from the very first visit, with the long waiting time and her not even being in the office (New York Bone & Joint Specialists). She was confused when I saw her and was about to inject the medicine into the wrong foot. Thank god I noticed that and warned her. She did not prescribe an MRI, which revealed to another doctor I needed a totally different treatment.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Ellie for my chronic plantar fasciitis and I couldn't be happier with the care I received. She is a sports medicine podiatrist who truly knows her stuff! In my experience, she was the most thorough doctor I have seen for this issue. I have had plantar fasciitis for 3+ years now and seen a handful of orthopedics and podiatrists in the city and can say that Dr. Ellie spent twice as much time as any other doctor I have seen in the city evaluating my feet via examination and ultrasound. She put together a comprehensive treatment plan for me that I'm excited to try. Her attention to detail and expertise in sports medicine podiatry was evident throughout the entire appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Ellie to anyone who needs a knowledgeable and compassionate podiatrist. Thank you, Dr. Ellie!

Usually in those type of visits the treatment is provided right away - now the doctor just evaluated the issue, and I would have to schedule a separate appointment for the treatment (which takes 5 minutes, by the way)
