“great visit! i showed up early for a 2pm appointment and thought id have to wait for them and i was called back at 1:59pm. the staff was super friendly as well and the bathroom was clean. on the way out, i set up my next appointment and was offered a rminder card which i loved because i often think to myself "ill write it when i get to my car" and forget about the details right away. great service overall!”

About Dr. Christopher Carlson

Raised in Arizona, Dr. Carlson earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arizona before moving to Colorado to begin his Family Medicine training in 2003. He completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine in 2007, during which he served as a team physician for the University of Colorado Buffaloes and the University of Denver Pioneers. He practiced rural medicine before beginning full-time outpatient primary care in Denver, where he has practiced since 2008.
Dr. Carlson enjoys the primary care setting as it allows for the establishment and development of individual and family relationships over time. When not working with patients, Dr. Carlson spends his time reading, cycling, cooking, skiing, and hiking with his wife and dog. He is a music collector and B-movie hobbyist.

Initially my appointment was for a new patient visit but before I could be seen I developed a specific problem that needed attention. Dr. Carlson thankfully focused on that problem to get treatment started right away. We made a new appointment for the new patient exam. This showed me that he is considering everyone's time and needs. My immediate need was taken care of and patients after me were not delayed. Great management!

Dr. Carlton was warm and friendly, understood my health issues, and has a good sense of humor (to put up with an octogenarian). Yes, I am happy I found a primary care provider closer to home. NOTE: Do not be late for your appointments, as they do keep on schedule and there is no or little wait time.
