I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with specialized residency training in mental health care. I earned my Master’s in Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington and completed a fellowship in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at the Dallas VA Medical Center. My practice is rooted in providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment tailored to each individual's unique needs. With a comprehensive understanding of psychiatric conditions across the lifespan, I offer both medication management and talk therapy. I am dedicated to helping you achieve mental wellness and thrive in your everyday life through collaborative, patient-centered care.

I take a holistic approach to mental health care, working closely with my patients to create personalized treatment plans that meet their unique needs. I'm dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and prioritize thorough assessments during initial intake appointments to ensure accurate diagnoses. I also conduct routine follow-ups to make sure that my patients’ needs are consistently met and they receive the best possible care.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
My process typically begins with gathering a comprehensive patient history and understanding current concerns during the initial intake. From there, I create tailored interventions based on thorough assessments. Follow-up appointments are essential for monitoring progress and making any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan. My approach includes medication management, psychotherapy, and a focus on lifestyle factors such as diet, physical activity, and sleep. My goal is to create a supportive environment where patients feel cared for and empowered on their mental health journey.
