What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer brief supportive therapy or brief solution focused therapy in all of my visits. I am compassionate, empathetic, and an all-round great listener. I will never force my beliefs or what I think is best on any of my patients. I believe in a patient-centered treatment plan. **I love treating g ADHD patients.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When we first meet I ask a lot of questions to help guide me down a treatment path. Once my intake is complete I then ask you what you think is going on. Then I give my findings discuss treatment options and let you decide which is most comfortable for you. Depending on what medications we start or change I will want to see you frequently to ensure the dose is working and you are safe. I usually reschedule every 4 weeks until we agree that you are doing well or your medications are at an optimized dose. We can titrate up as quickly and safely as you want or take our time. Then choice is yours. Then at that point, we can push out the appointments every three months for some cases then every 6 months for most medication types or allowed by law

Great Man. He is very upfront but nonconfrontational with his approach. Will keep seeing him as long as he takes my insurance
As a man, it's sometimes hard to share your thoughts much less talk about feelings. Mr Spitale makes it's easy to open up, his realistic approach helped me to put everything in prospective.
It was nice to get in/out promptly but also without feeling rushed. I felt heard and understood and will definitely recommend to my family and friends.
Very knowledgeable and professional!
It is amazing to finally have a doctor who takes the time to listen. He has helped me to understand that instead of concentrating on my problems, we come up with solutions! I can't thank you enough for everything.
Jamie has been amazing. The first person my son has opened up to and he is a new kid. He is more conservative, as he will tell you, on starting meds and increasing them. It works! If you or your child needs help see him ASAP. You’ll thank me later.
I’ve been seeing Jamie, and honestly, he’s awesome. From day one, he made me feel comfortable and really took the time to listen. He’s super easy to talk to, and you can tell he genuinely cares. Every visit with him leaves me feeling more confident about my decisions. If you’re looking for a great mental health provider, Jamie’s definitely the one!
During my visit, I was very pleased at how concerned the doctor was with my concerns and how he included me in my plan of care.
Great Doc. We like him
Mr. Spitale is a great listener. He never forces any opinions that he might have, and definitely helped me out. I felt like I was in a safe space and never felt uncomfortable.
Very nice man. He listens and lets you get out what you need to get out. I have been seeing this man for a while and as long as he is open I am following him wherever he goes. I would pay out of pocket. He has changed my life. He put me on the right “cocktail” of meds for my Bipolar problem and let me tell you i feel as normal as a person with bipolar can feel.
Very nice, polite, kind , and listens to what I have to say. I am transgender and am always worried when I see someone new how they will react. He encourages my dreams and is open and accepting of me for who I was born to be. He has me o the right medications to fights my fears of being transgender and help my depression and anxiety.
He is gentle and kind and extremely compassionate. He is empathetic and does not judge at all. He seems to understand what I am going through. He listens and sometimes that is just what I need. Sometime I just need to vent and he is there and doesn’t not interrupt at all. He is knowledgeable about my meds and has me on a bipolar med that has stabilized me. I haven’t felt this normal in a long time.
So glad I found this man. He keeps it simple and to the point. Easy to talk to and get along with. His way of looking at my situation opened my eyes and he has me on the right stuff now. I can’t thank him enough.
Doesn’t talk more than he needs to. He has a way of asking questions that get you thinking without hi telling you what to think. He simplified my meds and I have never been in such a good place if ever. If you need help he is your man!
Was very helpful!
It’s asks about bedside manner but I saw him on my computer but either way he is AWESOME. I am transgender and felt very comfortable right away. We talked about a lot of things in all of our visits. He gives me the time I need to vent and cry. Inthis time of trouble i our country he made me feel comfortable. He doesn’t try and change your meds if they are working. One of my meds I am on he doesn’t like to prescribe bit he said if it is working for me hem why change it AMAZING Doc!!!!!
