More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Culturally, and age-wise, it was not a good fit. In addition, here were my issues: The session was not HIPAA compliant- she did not wear headphones, the 'office' door was open, and her adult son literally walked in and saw me on the screen (I know because I essentially made eye contact with him). She was in a common area of her house and didn't rectify the issue once I told her what happened. She yelled back to 'not come back there', but didn't shut the door, didn't apologize, didn't put on headphones. She refused helping me understand what medication would work best for me personally, demonizing specific medications in the process. She seemed more concerned with deterring me than helping me understand what medication worked for *me* best and helping with discernment, which is what I went to her for.
