Hello! My name is Clarence Johnson, and I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who loves helping people improve their mental health. I specialize in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health disorders. My grandmother, mother, sister, and cousin are all in the medical field! I guess you could say it was a calling. By working in the hospital setting with people from all walks of life, I quickly realized that my true passion is improving mental health for everyone I encounter. I earned my Master's in Nursing from Walden University in 2018. I am excited to serve clients ages 12 and older in Maryland, Washington DC, Colorado, and will soon accept clients from South Carolina and Florida. At Reflective Minds Mental Wellness, we offer psychiatric evaluations and mental health medication management throughout Maryland, DC, and Colorado. We are very down-to-earth, even offering the ability to text back and forth on days when you do not have an appointment. Our providers see mostly all age ranges, from 12 and up (sometimes younger), and are very versatile in our practice. We are pleased to offer flexible scheduling with mostly late evening times available during the week. All appointments are virtual (telehealth) at this time.

I value input and feedback from my patients in order to increase treatment success. take a comprehensive approach to care. Each individual has a unique past, present, and future. I do not believe in prescribing or treating in a "one size fits all" fashion.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am open-minded and solution-oriented. My hope is that patients leave their appointment feeling like their concerns have been heard and addressed, and they have a clear understanding of their treatment plan.
