About Clarissa Saenz

“If you believe you can, you’re already halfway there.” I am an Arizona native and enjoy living here with my family. I love being able to serve my local community through primary care, where I can treat the whole patient. I see both children and adults and appreciate caring for patients at every stage of life. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and completed my Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Northern Arizona University. I am a Board Certified Physician Assistant through the NCCPA with training in internal medicine and family medicine. I have worked as a physician assistant in primary care since 2017. Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors with my husband and two children. We enjoy family bike rides, and I also like reading a wide variety of books and baking. My favorite place to travel is the beach! My goal is to build meaningful, lasting relationships with all of my patients.

Dr. Saenz was the first doctor that made me feel heard and reassured in a long time. I have been dealing with some health issues lately that have been really difficult and I have not been getting a lot of help from other providers. It was my first time seeing her and she recognized the amount of stress I was going through, the pain I was in, how sick I was, and how urgent that matter was too. After my appointment, I switched her to be my new PCP because I am done trying with my other practice. I confidently recommend her based off her empathy, she cares.
