I am a dual board-certified Family/Psychiatric Mental Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience in the nursing field. I earned my Master's in Nursing from William Paterson University and completed a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at Frontier Nursing University. I have worked in hospitals, long-term care, community, and outpatient settings. I am experienced in helping people of all backgrounds with a wide range of mental health challenges, including Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorders, ADHD, and more.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My approach to care is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration. I strive to build a safe, trusting, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic rapport so that you can feel at ease discussing your concerns and goals. Mental health via telemedicine or in-person is about access when you need a skilled professional to help you navigate life challenges. It takes a good listener on the other end of the conversation to help you find the right path for you.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I use a combination of evidence-based medication management, psychotherapy, and self-care/wellness techniques. I work with you to develop a holistic, personalized treatment plan that addresses your unique needs and promotes your well-being. Knowledge is power in managing mental health. I aim to equip you with the appropriate resources to make the right decision. I am honored to be part of your team.
