About Clifford Amos

Clifford has been a practicing Physician Assistant since 1997, and has been providing dermatology care since 2004. He has served as a clinical preceptor for PA and nursing students, furthered clinical research as Principal Investigator for ESPIRT and CORRONA Psoriasis registries and educated medical professionals on dermatology-specific medications. The southwestern Pennsylvania native was a U.S. Navy Corpsman and served from 1982-92, spending time on various Naval Ships and in Naval Hospitals. He graduated from cardiopulmonary school at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, received his BS from the University of Maryland, College Park, and his MS in Health Sciences as a Physician Assistant from George Washington University in 1997. Clifford is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. When not working, he enjoys triathlons, exercise, travel, bonsai, drum corps and has taken up windsurfing since moving to Annapolis.
