Clinton Hart, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
CA
I was born and raised in Southern California in a family grounded in conservative and faith-based values that emphasized compassion, service, integrity, and hard work. Those values played a significant role in shaping both my personal life and my approach to patient care. My journey into healthcare began after moving to Las Vegas, where I pursued my nursing education and discovered a passion for serving individuals during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. My professional career started in emergency medicine, where I spent ten years working as a registered nurse in high-acuity emergency departments and behavioral health settings. During that time, I cared for patients facing medical crises, psychiatric emergencies, trauma, addiction, and complex emotional challenges. Working in fast-paced environments strengthened my clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to remain calm and compassionate under pressure. It also deepened my understanding of the strong connection between physical and mental health. While raising a family, I continued my education and earned a Master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). As I worked more closely with patients, I recognized the growing need for accessible and compassionate mental health care, which inspired me to pursue additional specialty training and board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). For the past five years, I have had the privilege of serving patients as a nurse practitioner, integrating my backgrounds in primary care and psychiatry to provide comprehensive, patient-centered treatment. My goal is to support individuals with empathy, evidence-based care, and personalized treatment plans that address both emotional and physical well-being.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
