Clyde Smith, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
CA
My ideal client is someone who is open-minded, curious, and ready to actively participate in their healing journey. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, but they have a spark of hope that things can get better—and they’re willing to explore both traditional and alternative paths to get there. They’re not just looking for a quick fix, but for real, lasting transformation. They’re open to understanding how their lifestyle, environment, past experiences, and spiritual health affect their mental well-being. Whether they’ve tried medication before or never have, they’re willing to explore a balanced, personalized treatment plan that may include supplements, mindfulness, nutrition, or inner work—alongside evidence-based psychiatric care. Most importantly, they value collaboration. They don’t expect me to “fix” them, but they trust in the process and in themselves. They’re ready to take ownership of their growth, ask questions, and be gently challenged in a space that’s grounded in compassion, safety, and deep respect.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
