About Dr. Colette Lieber
Dr. Colette Lieber, MD, is a board-certified general dermatologist. After completing her B.S. at Stanford University, Dr. Lieber earned her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine. She subsequently received internship/residency training in pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco. She completed her dermatology residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center and obtained additional specialized pediatric dermatology training at East Bay Children's Hospital in Oakland, California. She served as the Director of Medical and Surgical Dermatology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York before settling into private practice in Bergen County, N.J.
Dr. Lieber enjoys all facets of medical dermatology from newborn to geriatric, from the mundane to a challenging diagnostic case. She is fluent in French and conversant in Spanish. In her spare time Dr. Lieber enjoys cooking, travel, poker, urban hiking, tennis, and musical theater.

The doctor seemed nice but it's clear that she overbooks and just tries to get as many people in as possible. Long wait times are the norm and it doesn't seem to phase her.

Dr. Lieber is the best! I have been to many Dermatologists as dealing with psoriasis has been a nightmare for me since I was 16...
Most doctors come in make quick recommendations and leave their assistants to discuss the main directions of taking the medications.
Dr. Lieber made me feel comfortable and heard. We discussed all my trial and errors of dealing with psoriasis in the past. (What worked and what didn't.) She treated me like a person not just a patient. Her prescription / over-counter recommendations were thought out and personalized to me and my life. Very helpful and honest! 100% would recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Lieber is kind and knowledgeable. The office waiting room was crowded and dr.s were behind schedule. Even though she said a particular medication was going to be prescribed and called into my pharmacy, I had to call them to do this because this wasn't in the portal nor was it called in. I'm guessing they're over worked.

I chose this doctor on Zocdoc because of all the reviews that suggested she did not rush patients out of the room. My experience was the total opposite of that, she pretty much came in with assumptions, and went out quickly. I am sure its due to her extensive knowledge and years of practice, however I did not appreciate it at all. I must say I have nothing bad to say about the rest of the staff though, they were all really nice and attentive. I won't be going back, and I would definitely not recommend her to anyone I know.

I have been seeing Dr. Lieber for years. She is very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. Because of Dr. Lieber my acne has been under control, she has worked with me to find the best treatment options for my skin. I have recommended her to many family members and friends and will continue to do so!
