I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in both Oregon and Washington. I earned my Master’s degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Wilkes University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. With over three decades of experience in healthcare across many roles, my approach to patient care has always been patient-centered, emphasizing human dignity, respect, compassion, and a deep understanding of the human condition. My goal is for patients to feel comfortable sharing their challenges with me so I can help them build strength and resiliency to cope effectively and become the best version of themselves.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I have experience working in both outpatient and inpatient settings and am familiar with the subtleties involved in both. I am skilled in crisis de-escalation and helping clients find and develop the skills they need to succeed.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Initially the process begins with a detailed assessment and then moves into a therapeutic relationship where goals are outlined and then achieved.

Nice and calm demeanor, started on time. Listened very well even though I’m in a manic episode, and I’m very talkative with rapid/manic speech. Came across as very genuine, and caring. Only my first appointment with Colin, but I feel he’s a good fit for me as my primary psychiatrist
