About Colleen Manning
Colleen is from Long Island, New York, and moved to Houston in 2011. She knows sign language and has a deep appreciation for the deaf community, as both of her parents are deaf. She has lived in several cities before settling in Houston and has come to love the South and Texas life.
Colleen earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Joseph's College in New York. She then pursued a Master's degree in Family Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014, Colleen's bedside nursing career spanned 10 years, primarily in adult critical care at various hospitals across the country. She chose family medicine because she wanted to build lasting relationships with her patients-caring for them over their lifetime by helping optimize their health, manage chronic conditions, and educate them to achieve their health goals.
Outside the office, Colleen enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. Her hobbies include cooking, watching sports, running, and traveling to new places near and far.

i have been to this office twice before for annual medicare "wellness" visits..each time its been a different nurse practitioner as the doctors do not do the "well" visits..if there is an issue needing further study or referral,the rnp will tell you so,,also, they do give referrrals for other things like mammograms or colonoscopies or the like which is great..overall,a good visit and the young lady was educated,responsive, and let me discuss various things with her ..i recommend this practice..my physician there is dr, alejandra palmero -irvine..

Colleen spends a good amount of time with me every time I have n appointment with her. She has an outstanding bed side manner and she makes you feel important. She’s asks a lot of questions to figure out the best course of action. I highly recommend her.
