What should a new client know about working with you?

Upon graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Utah Valley University, I was accepted at Weber State where I pursued a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies. While at Utah Valley, I solidified my interests in the mental health field forming a desire to work in Psychiatry. This likely stemmed from my early work experience at Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital, an inpatient facility in Utah. My experience working with individuals in acute crises and distress provided me with the confidence to manage a wide array of mental health conditions and provide avenues for patients looking to navigate their difficult circumstances.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start with a thorough evaluation to understand your history, current challenges, and priorities. Together, we create a personalized plan that may include medication management, therapy referrals, or lifestyle strategies to strengthen overall wellness. I check in regularly with patients, adjusting treatment as needed, and strive to create a safe and empathetic space where you feel comfortable working through challenges and moving toward lasting change. Understanding that mental health is not a one-size-fits-all solution, I am willing to work diligently with patients until that unique and individualized avenue is discovered.

More information on payments and coverage

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. If a payment method is not provided, your appointment may be canceled. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
