What should a new client know about working with you?

My aim for therapy, regardless of our approach or goals, is to help clients become better versions of themselves through building insight and identifying long-term behavior changes. Clients can expect a laid back approach from me with inquisitive interactions aimed at helping clients learn more about themselves and what motivates their behaviors and decision making.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I take a multidisciplinary approach to therapy which is rooted in behavioral and cognitive theory. I usually start from a cognitive behavioral perspective and incorporate additional modalities as needed. I enjoy using mindfulness based treatments and am also trained in structured protocols for trauma such prolonged exposure and cognitive processing.
