About Dr. Corey Schlanger
Dr. Corey, a chiropractor at The Spine & Health Center of Park Ridge and Montvale, received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, majoring in Kinesiology, and his Doctor of Chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport. While at the University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic, Dr. Corey completed multiple clinical rotations ranging from private practice to working in the Community Health Center. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Corey experienced chronic shoulder pain that prevented him from doing the activities he loved. This inspired him to learn how to treat pain and restore function.
Dr. Corey is certified in Fascial Manipulation using the Stecco Method, a technique that addresses science’s newest discovery of the fascial and connective tissue system of the body. He is an evidence informed practitioner who constantly reads research to stay up to date with the latest evidence in pain therapy.

I was scheduled for an appointment through Zocdoc, However, when I arrived at Spine and Health the office was closed. Zocdoc let me schedule an appointment at another Spine and Health location, so I did and went, but that one was closed as well. Turns out all Spine and health offices were closed that day even though all were scheduling appointments on Zocdoc. Driving around further aggravated my already very painful back problems.

Back & neck pain/issues alway feel better after a visit to Dr. Cory. Never feel rushed. Not just a crack your back & get out practice. Take time & care to target & treat problem areas. Taper sessions frequency & stop when feeling better. Then if/when something happens months or even yeas later, make my way back to get treatment again. Top notch.

I am so happy that I am so happy that I found the spine and health center, I have been to both of Montvale and Park RidgeI have been to both the Montvale and Park Ridge location. And I am astonished with the amount of tools and resources. They have to alleviate the back pain I was experiencing. After falling down two flights of stairs, the local urgent care had suggested various pills to overcome the painAfter falling down two flights of stairs, the local urgent care had suggested various pills to overcome the pain.Not only did the spine center provide relief by adjusting my back, but they maintained their quality work by providing me with exercises and stretches to do to complement the good work that was already done. I’ve been lucky enough to be seen by Dr. Corey as well as Dr. Greg. Both have proven to possess respectable bedside manner, allowing the patient to feel comfortable and engaged. I am grateful for their services and the various methods they use to alleviate discomfort!

Corey gives great adjustments, but also gives you stretches and exercises to do at home that will help with your long term care. He’s basically a PT/Chiro mixed in one. Incredible care I’m very happy I found him.

I am seeing Dr. Corey to treat lower back tightness and tight/clicking hip flexors. Dr. Corey is very receptive to patients requests and listens to what their chief complaints are while getting to the root cause of the issue. Since seeing him, my lower back/hip tightness has dissipated and I am now seeing him for preventative care. I highly recommend him and the facility.

Dr Corey is the best, as well as the entire staff, from the front desk to the other doctors, they are all so welcoming. Dr Corey always listens to what my body is feeling each visit and thoroughly explains the processes to improve my wellness, and always gives amazing advice for at home self care workouts and exercises. As an athlete and construction worker in a physically demanding career, I wouldn't trust anyone else to make sure my body is exactly the way it needs to be, in order to be successful at what I do, and pain free. With each visit it gets easier with the proper care and after starting off a few times a week and narrow down to once a month with maintenance visits, it sure goes a long way.

Dr Corey is very friendly and easy to talk to. Very professional and listens to what you say. Knows exactly where the help is needed and what to do. I’ve been seeing him for a few months now and will continue. Very happy with his care. I’ve been to both the Montvale and Park Ridge offices and both places are great and the staff is very friendly.

Doctor Corey Schlanger has recently become my new chiropractor. He also became my daughter’s chiropractor. I should note my daughter wanted a female doctor but on the first visit with him she was comfortable. I trust the doctor with my care as well as my family’s care.
The doctor is polite and professional and very personable. His staff are also very polite and professional. I am happy we found Dr. Corey.

Dr. Corey is absolutely phenomenal. I met him when he was doing a collaboration at my gym and he was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I had been looking for a chiropractor and immediately made an appointment with him after our initial meeting. Since then, he has helped relieve my back and neck pain and provides me stretches I can do on my own that are helpful. He is patient, friendly and always takes the time to work on your body. I never feel rushed. He also makes sure to always explain everything he's doing and the reasons behind it. I highly recommend Dr. Corey!
