She specializes in traumafocused treatment, addressing concerns relevant to LGBTQ individuals, supporting adjustment to medical conditions, and improving healthwellness. She also treats clients with general mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, griefloss, and stress. Dr. Kelsch practices with an integrative approach using cognitive behavioral therapy modalities cognitive processing therapy, prolonged exposure as well as using eclectic, clientcentered treatment informed by acceptance and commitment therapy ACT, dialectical behavior therapy DBT, and existentialmeaning making approaches. Dr. Kelsch earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Miami in 2015, with a secondary focus on PTSD treatment. She completed her Medical Psychology internship at the Phoenix VA Medical Center, where she also trained in the PTSD Clinic. She completed a postdoctoral internship at the VA Boston Healthcare System in LGBT Health Care and served as an interventionist at The Fenway Institute for 2 years in a clinical trial involving riskreduction in sexual minority men with childhood trauma histories.
