Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

I am passionate about treating the whole person. Mental health is never just one piece of your story—it’s influenced by stress, medical conditions, history, environment, and lifestyle. I take all of these into account and work to make you an equal partner in your care. My goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and equipped with the tools you need for lasting wellness. I have experience treating a wide range of conditions, including eating disorders, mood disorders, substance use disorders, psychosis, PTSD, and trauma-related challenges. I especially enjoy working with women’s mental health, including the prenatal and postpartum period, as well as supporting veterans and the LGBTQIA+ community. Patients often tell me they appreciate my collaborative, down-to-earth style. I believe you bring essential knowledge about your own life, and together we can build a treatment plan that fits who you are and what you need. Please note: I am accepting new patients for ongoing medication management support. I do not provide therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I have worked in the mental health field since 2002 and in psychiatric nursing since 2007, and I bring that experience into every patient relationship. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Utah in 2021 and completed the Nurse Practitioner Residency Program at the Salt Lake City VA, where I received specialized training in PTSD, homeless outreach, Clozaril management, substance use treatment, inpatient psychiatry, and crisis intervention.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I begin with a thorough evaluation so I can fully understand your history, current challenges, and goals. From there, we develop a personalized plan that may include medication management, therapy referrals, or lifestyle strategies to support your mental health. I check in regularly and adjust treatment as needed, ensuring your care continues to meet your needs. My aim is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered on your journey toward healing.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
