About Dr. Craig Foster
Craig Foster, DPM is a highly trained podiatric physician and surgeon, and owner of Traction Podiatry Group in Gilbert, AZ.
Dr. Foster studied at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He then attended medical school and earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM) in Independence, OH in 2018. Dr. Foster completed a three-year residency at Louis B Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland, OH where he received training in techniques for tendon transfers, lower extremity external fixations, ankle fracture and lapidus plating, ankle joint fusion, Jones fracture fixation, and more.
Dr. Foster’s specialties include diabetic foot and wound care, sports medicine, chronic foot pain, and non-traditional conservative therapies such as Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT). He is affiliated with Louis B Stokes VA Medical Center.

I recently had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Craig Foster, a podiatrist, and I must say that my experience was outstanding. From the moment I arrived, his staff, Jocelyn, was incredibly efficient, friendly, and polite. They made the check-in process smooth and effortless. Dr. Foster himself was knowledgeable and thorough, taking the time to explain everything clearly.
I was promptly taken for an X-ray and received a clear, detailed diagnosis, along with a well-explained treatment plan. The clarity and care in his approach made me feel truly valued as a patient. Initially, I was hesitant to change podiatrists due to my work schedule and new health insurance, but I have absolutely no regrets. Choosing Dr. Foster was the right decision.
Overall, I was very impressed with the level of care I received. Dr. Foster and his staff have set the bar for what great healthcare should be. It was the best experience I’ve had with a healthcare provider in the US so far. Highly recommended!

When I walked in, the office coordinator checked me right in. She then took me in for x-rays. Nice complete she took me to the examination room. Dr Craig came in shortly there after. He had great bedside manner and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We agreed on a plan and for me to return it 2 weeks to assess my improvement.
